An artist in her own right, Anne-Marie has found a niche at Southland Education passing on her expertise as a Printmaking tutor. Another role she fulfils is Southland Education’s Events Co-ordinator skilfully organising our participation in Night of the Arts, Amplify, Southerly Arts and group exhibitions and shows. Completing her Bachelor of Screen Arts in 2024 she now continues her line of enquiry with a Masters in Professional Practice, which ties in with her passion for community involvement. During her studies, she was recognised with several awards and has since contributed to various creative industries while developing her own practice. She has worked for the Southland Art Foundation co-ordinating the Fellows programme, as an Art Teacher at Aparima College and for St. John’s as a Paramedic. She brings a wide variety of arts-based skills and wealth of life experience to the role at Southland Education.
