The Pre-school Parent Support programme at Newfield Kindergarten has been re-instated. Southland Education provides a variety of Art/Craft workshops including Acrylics, Lead lighting, Mosaics and Card making for parents at the pre-school.
Opportunity has been provided for Persons with disabilities in the field of Music with a new course entitled “Upbeat.” This course has been run in conjunction with Idea services. Tutor Natalie Hughes inspires the students in music appreciation and enjoyment.
Also in collaboration with Idea services, art classes are on offer for persons with disabilities. A variety of art media are covered including acrylics, mosaic and clay sculpture.
